    Compliance Generalist - Full Tme - Miami, FL


    The Compliance Generalist shall report directly to the Director of Risk and Compliance. The role serves to provide support to the Compliance Director, assist in daily office needs, and manage the department’s general administrative activities. The role functions to ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of the department. Promotes an awareness and understanding of positive ethical and moral principles consistent with the mission, vision and values of the organization.



    • Organizes and schedules appointments and meetings.
    • Participates in departmental meetings by taking detailed minutes.
    • Writes and distributes emails, memos, letters, faxes, and forms.
    • Assists in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
    • Contributes in the completion of city, county, and state applications.
    • Develops and maintains a filing system.
    • Maintains policies and procedures database.
    • Prepares PowerPoint presentations.
    • Transfers information onto Excel Spreadsheets for tracking and trending



    • Promotes understanding, communication and coordination of the organization’s Compliance Program.
    • Delivers and/or ensures delivery of privacy training and orientation to all new employees, medical and professional staff and applicable business associates.
    • Encourages understanding of compliance initiatives and compliance standards of the organization.
    • Provides support for internal and external regulatory and quality audits.
    • Works with functional areas to assure compliance related-issues have the appropriate support to proactively measure / assess compliance.


    • Communicates changes and updates to staff and management, as applicable.
    • Assists in preparing and submitting applications and reports.
    • Supports reviewing and revising policies and procedures.


    • Associate Degree in Business or related field required
    • Basic knowledge of HIPAA and PHI rules and regulations
    • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite,
    • Bi-lingual fluency in English and Spanish
    • Must be willing to travel on occasion to local centers
    • Knowledge of Compliance preferred
    • Advanced MS Excel skills preferred
    • 0-1 years’ experience in a Compliance Healthcare or related setting
    • Exceptional written, verbal and communication skills
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality
    • Detail-oriented, well-organized critical thinker with strong analytical skills
    • Strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
